Search with Classes Eligibility
The Moreno Valley Community Adult School offers a basic computer skills course designed to equip students with essential skills for personal and professional use, covering topics like computer hardware, software operations, and Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Students also develop internet skills for navigating websites and using search engines, providing a solid foundation for everyday computer tasks.
AGIF offers virtual computer instruction classes that teach parents basic computer literacy, digital citizenship, and how to keep their children safe online, among other skills.
Classes are one-time and cover different subjects, such as using a digital wallet or using google calendar. Classes are held remotely, and devices are not provided.
Tech for Success distributes refurbished computers to those who need assistance. Tech for Success also offers free digital literacy and computer classes. Applicants must take two online workshops. To get a laptop, applicants must take five online workshops.
The Riverside County Library offers Chromebooks and Wi-Fi Hotspots to community members who need access to technology outside the library. Any Riverside County resident, 18 years or older with an active library card in good standing, can borrow these devices from participating library branches.
San Jacinto Adult Education offers computer skills courses and provides Chromebooks to students enrolled in GED or Diploma programs. The computer skills courses help students develop essential technology proficiency, while the availability of Chromebooks ensures that they have the tools needed for their studies.
